Essex combines historic towns, a long coastline and fast links into London, which makes it one of the most practical counties in England for educational visits.

​Thurrock

Thurrock lines the north bank of the River Thames in south Essex. It is the closest A&O area to London, with towns, riverside walks and quick train links into the capital.

Clacton-on-Sea

Clacton-on-Sea is a classic English seaside town on the Essex coast, known for its pier, sandy beaches and long seafront promenade.
